Hispanic Heritage Month

As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, it is vital to recognize the rich cultural contributions of Hispanic and Latine Americans to our society. This month-long celebration, which runs from September 15th to October 15th, is a time to honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of those whose roots trace back to Spain, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.

At the Office for Access and Equity, we are invested in supporting and providing resources to Hispanic and Latine communities. This includes promoting diversity and inclusion in our workplace and advocating for equitable policies and practices that support the needs of these communities.

We recognize that our Hispanic and Latine colleagues, students, and community members face unique challenges and barriers, and we are committed to working with them to overcome these challenges and create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all.

We encourage everyone to take the time to learn about Hispanic Heritage Month and the contributions of Hispanic and Latine Americans to our society. Let us celebrate their rich cultural heritage and continue to work towards a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
