DRC Operations during COVID-19
DRC Will Be Remote for Fall 2020
We hope that you and your families are well as we prepare for this unprecedented semester.
To protect the health and safety of our students and our staff, The Disability Resource Center will continue to function remotely for the Fall 2020 semester. We are still meeting with students and faculty via phone and video chat. We are just an email or a phone call away if you need anything, but please be patient as we are working from home, so response time may be a little longer than usual.
Because we will not be in our physical location, we will not be facilitating in-person accommodated test proctoring but will continue to support students and faculty to provide accommodations in an online setting. If you have specific concerns about access to your tests, please contact your Disability Services Specialist and/or our Testing Coordinators at email@example.com.
We have adapted our Assistive Technology protocol so that software and hardware can be checked out and returned in a contactless manner via UPS. Document Conversion services will continue per our standard procedure.
We will continue to work with on and off-campus resources to provide referrals for academic and non-academic concerns. The resources page of our website has been updated with direct links to many of our partners, as well as guides to help students adapt to learning in an online environment.
Please do not hesitate to contact any of us directly or at our general phone number, (312) 413-2183 and email address, firstname.lastname@example.org.
